From your room you can stroll up winding paths to the Winter Garden for a sauna, or a wallow in the jacuzzi. Or down to the sun terrace for a swim in the lake. The landscaped gardens with their shimmering views make for an exquisite escape.
As for the 18th-century building, it started life as a hunting estate for European nobility and became a hotel in 1924. The beauty is matchless and the comforts many, yet there’s no standing on ceremony.
