Casa Broggi & Little Broggi

In an leafy quarter of central Milan, 2 inviting apartments run by generous Jane. Perfect for families and romancers

2 places

Sleeping from 2 – 4

You’re in an elegant part of town. The florist below is like an art gallery and shoppers get their fix nearby. No need to worry about noise though; the apartments are in a historic Liberty style building in a leafy residential area. Both have high ceilings and period details abound. Beds are good, the linen is first-rate, and – a rarity for Italy – towels are fluffy. Casa Broggi, on the first floor, has a homely feel with a mix of antique pieces and paintings, and a sparkling green mosaic bathroom. The kitchen (with hob but no oven) is great for the basics. Recently renovated Little Broggi, on the third floor, is bright, cheery, and ideal for couples or friends. Many of the furnishings in the colour-themed rooms have a story to tell; the kitchen has all you need. Jane moved from Scotland 20 years ago and lives in a separate wing with her Italian husband and daughter. Immensely kind and helpful, she’s particularly sensitive to families and provides everything from strollers to high chairs. A wonderful peaceful place to return to after a day’s exploring magnificent Milano.

Casa Broggi feels like our secret Milan apartment! It's supremely comfortable, in a great location and Jane is a fantastic host. Casa Broggi is so cosy and really well appointed that it feels like home which is a lovely change from the usual modernised apartments with little character. It's 2 minute walk to Corso Buenos Aires and about 20 minutes into the centre. Jane makes you feel so welcome. There are lots of restaurants close by and a good range of brochures in the apartment. Can't wait for our next visit.

Our two night stay in Little Broggi was an absolute pleasure. The apartment is superb and everything is to an exceptional standard. We had a wonderful welcome from Jane who is so lovely and helpful- she very kindly let us stay in the apartment until the evening on our final day as we had a late flight home, which meant we could enjoy another day exploring Milan without lugging our suitcases along. The apartment is in a very safe area and is very secure it is also in an excellent location with a small organic supermarket opposite and the metro 10 mins walk away. Highly recommended :)

Little Broggi was perfect for a mother and daughter travelling together. Central AND SAFE location, easy to get to and from the central station. The apartment was spacious, well equipped with everything you would need, and immaculately clean and tidy. Would definitely return. Jane was very welcoming and helpful and gave us some good advice and tips. All in all a real gem, it made our time in Milan very special. thank you Jane

Our two-day stay at Little Broggi was a real pleasure. Everything was to an exceptionally high standard, from the friendliness and clarity of Jane's email communications to her warm personal welcome on our arrival at the delightful apartment which is spacious, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. And what a welcome basket! Little Broggi is conveniently located in a pleasant area of Milan, only four bus stops away from the central railway station and with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We certainly hope to return.

Lovely, confortable accommodation in a super location - we loved staying here as it's in such a traditional Milanese building, with all the charm and elegance that brings. We have actually stayed in both Casa and Little Broggi on separate trips and both were just super. All needs are catered for and Jane is very attentive to the little details that make holiday accommodation special, and she is very welcoming. All is extremely clean and well maintained and was so nice to return to after a day out walking the streets of Milan. We will be back and will enjoy future stays here.

Isabel, Edinburgh

We stayed in Little Broggi for one night as we were getting the night train to Palermo the following day. Jane could not have done more to make us welcome and made our too-brief stay a great introduction to Milan. Do not hesitate to book!

Marise, Edinburgh

Little Broggi is the best place for two people who want to stay a few days in Milan. It is situated in a quiet and very fine residential area within walking distance of the city centre. The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished and well equipped with everything you need, and when you arrive there is a welcome basket full of goodies. We enjoyed our stay very much and the next time we come to Milan we will try to stay there again. Highly recommend!

Little Broggi was the perfect place for our family of 3 to stay in Milan. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious. We had absolutely everything we needed and felt at home instantly, especially after Jane’s warm welcome. We loved the location and found it very convenient to get around. We had a car with us and parked easily nearby. We highly recommend the apartment and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Casa Broggi is everything you expect from a well designed and maintained apartment rental in the city of Milan, and more. Located in an old house, with high ceilings, you immediately feel like a proud local living the Milano lifestyle. Excellent location, a pleasant stroll to the subway or tram. Supermarket downstairs and a 24hrs Carrefour within 5 minutes walk. And a very pleasant and proactive host, very responsive and caring. Already made a reservation for our next stay

Little Broggi was perfect ; comfortable, well equipped and in a good, convenient area. Jane’s welcome was absolutely lovely after a long day of travel. We were in Milan’s for work and to relax and would happily return to Little Broggi.

We stayed for four nights in this quiet palazzo in residential Milan. High ceilings, light, airy and well equipped. Felt like coming home after a busy day in the city. Absolute highlights were the food tips from lovely host Jane. Having dinner amongst the locals was great.

Paul, Arnhem

We came to Milan to watch the Milan - Inter derby. From the booking and correspondence right through our stay; we couldn't have been happier with the quality of the palazzo apartment, the location (adjacent to a metro for ease of travel anywhere in Milan) and incredibly friendly and attentive help from Jane. We had an absolute nightmare with our tickets via a third party ticket website based in Spain, and Jane was even kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine (and print our tickets!) to soothe our frustration. I am sure we will be back. Thanks again for all of your help Jane. See you soon :)

Just returned from a wonderful stay in Little Broggi. From initial email contact with Jane to her meeting us at the apartment, it was obvious she was committed to making our stay special. The apartment is centrally located, very convenient for shops and restaurants many of which Jane recommended from her extensive local knowledge. The apartment was immaculate, recently renovated with great taste right down to the little things. It a real home from home complete with an umbrella at the door which was sadly well used during our stay! Would definitely recommend Little Broggi .

A very warm and hospitable welcome from Jane at the start of our holiday; she is a fund of knowledge about Milan, its culture and local restaurants. A lovely clean spacious flat, ideally situated in a quiet area yet near the metro and wonderful shopping. Stunning art and architecture - we walked miles every day, and part of the charm is getting lost, pausing for coffee and pastry and people watching.

S, Aberdeen

Our four night stay at Casa Broggi was wonderful - Jane was so welcoming, friendly ad helpful. It is a delightful home, and wonderfully well equipped and decorated. A thoroughly relaxing place to come back to after a day's sightseeing in the city - we can't praise this apartment enough. A perfect alternative to the usual hotel options. An easy 20 minute walk into the historic centre - going via Giardini Pubblici makes it more pleasurable too. Would highly recommend Casa Broggi for a city break stay.

Penny, Winchester

That we had a wonderful time in Milan was largely due to the location of this excellent property, the property itself and the efforts made by the proprietor, Jane, to make us as comfortable and feel as welcome as possible. It is no exaggeration to say the lengths she went to were well over & above anything that could reasonably be expected, even to the extent of personally driving us to the station when we left! We found the accommodation itself to be absolutely spotless and, in respect of everything including the kitchen and bathroom, to be very well appointed. Thanks for everything, Jane!

Jamie, Glasgow

Little Broggi is in a lovely quiet street but still near to the centre of Milan. We chose to walk everywhere but metro stations and tram stops are close by. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh and equipped with everything you might need including tea, coffee and milk and, as it was Valentine's Day, prosecco and chocolates. The owner, Jane, was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had an enjoyable stay in this city full of all sorts of things to see and do.

Little Broggi provides comfortable, spacious and quiet accommodation that make for a very relaxing stay in Milan. The apartment is in easy reach of all of Milan’s many attractions – places can be accessed by public transport or by foot if you feel energetic enough. Jane is a lovely, welcoming host who does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable and provides plenty of useful information regarding local shops, restaurants, transport etc. The apartment has every amenity for a pleasant stay, including a very comfortable sofa bed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Anna, Stourbridge

Amazing start to our Italian adventure. Jane's welcome made us feel like we were staying with family. Apartment beautifully and thoughtfully presented and had everything we needed from guidebooks and adapters to tea milk and some biscotti! Central location made exploring a breeze and Jane and previous pleased guests had lots of suggestions. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Milan especially with a child/children. Great base to travel from and just quietly the shopping around the corner is sublime! We will be back- thanks Jane!
