The Experience

You’re in an elegant part of town. The florist below is like an art gallery and shoppers get their fix nearby. No need to worry about noise though; the apartments are in a historic Liberty style building in a leafy residential area. Both have high ceilings and period details, beds are good, the linen is first-rate, and – a rarity for Italy – towels are fluffy.

Casa Broggi, on the first floor, has a homely feel with a mix of antique pieces and paintings, and a sparkling green mosaic bathroom. The kitchen (with hob but no oven) is great for the basics. Little Broggi, on the third floor, is bright, cheery, and ideal for couples or friends. Many of the furnishings in the colour-themed rooms have a story to tell; the kitchens have all you need and Jane leaves a welcome hamper of local goodies.

Stroll to a tree-lined park, have an aperitivo at GUD (best to book), eat wonderful Milanese food at a huge choice of restaurants.

Reviews

We had the most wonderful time staying at Casa Broggi. Jane was very welcoming and there was a lovely hamper waiting for us in the kitchen. The apartment has high ceilings and is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The area is great- its leafy, walkable, good for families with lots of good restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. We hope to return!

Casa Broggi is an authentic, calm and safe place to stay. It's in the heart of Milan, easy to get to from the train station and walkable to the city sights. The host is really helpful and friendly.

Elaine, Suffolk

We loved staying at Little Broggi and it exceeded expectation. Jane was most welcoming, greeting us in the rain in the street. She was incredibly helpful and a mine of detailed local knowledge, guiding us to excellent restaurants and the best way to travel. The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable and secure. We found Little Broggi, including the kitchen, well and thoughtfully equipped and convenient both for the railway station and, by metro, for all the sites we wanted to visit. The little supermarket opposite provided everything we needed for breakfast.

Henry, Exeter

Lovely, well-furnished, one bedroomed apartment with a good sized (and light) living room, on the 3rd floor of a fine building located in relatively central Milan, approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the "Duomo" and just 3-5 minutes from the one of the main shopping streets. The hostess, Jane, made us feel totally welcome and could not have been more helpful. If we return to Milan we will definitely try to stay here again. Our thanks to Jane for a memorable stay.

Our second stay at this beautiful B&B. This time in Little Broggi. A beautiful apartment, very well situated and flooded with natural light. Jane is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We look forward to staying again. Thank you so much Jane.

Rachel, Sydney

Perfect place to stay. The flat is great and the owner is very nice and easy going.

Casa Broggi is a stunning apartment located in Central Milan, with an authentic Italian touch of decor and furnishings. To start and finish your day in such surroundings, made my stay so comfortable and relaxing. Exceptionally clean and spacious and everything contained within the apartment to make it feel like home. The location is just perfect, to walk into central Milan if sightseeing locally, and a short walk to Milan central station, providing a great link to explore other parts of Italy by train, both of which I did. Good restaurants, good shopping are also close by.

Mark, Dumfries

The best apartment ever, big, sunny rooms, perfect kitchen and every detail looked after to make the stay as comfortable as possible. There were not only basic appliances but an Italian welcome basket with pasta, wine etc. Jane really cared for us and was so helpful with all local information, from parking to restaurants and sights.

Bernd, Berlin

How comfortable this apartment was with everything we needed. I would recommend it to everyone. The flat is easy walking distance to the city centre and rail and bus links. Jane (our host) provides personal transfer from airport or station, and return, to the flat. Definitely a plus! We could not have asked for more, in terms of comfort and cleanliness and a welcoming experience.

Sheila, Dumfries

Amazing stayed at little Broggi Milan the ower (Jane ) was outstanding from the moment I booked it to leaving. Getting picked up at the airport. Wine and nibble’s waiting a 5 star experience .

Christine, Milan

I really enjoyed my stay at Little Broggi. Jane was incredibly helpful, quickly sorting everything out for me after I enquired at very short notice due to complications with my Airbnb booking. The flat is lovely, and conveniently located. I will definitely be staying here again if I re-visit Milan!

James, London

A great apartment in a great location. It had everything we needed for a two night stay. Lovely to be in a leafy suburb experiencing Milan as a ‘local’ but easy to walk to the centre and all the tourist hotspots. A supermarket across the road was handy for provisions. Jane was a great host, giving loads of tips about what to do and where to go.

Wendy and David, Wiltshire

Casa Broggi was a wonderful experience of an authentic Italian residence which made you immediately feel part of the local community. Using the bright yellow and green painted building on Corso Buenos Aires as our reference point we learned the geography of the area. Jane’s excellent communication throughout meant she was there waiting for us on arrival when she showed us around her beautiful apartment. We would highly recommend Casa Broggi to anyone. NB When visiting Milan pack your mosquito repellent!

Lindsay, Dorset

Jane is a great host and leaves a little starter pack, greetings goodies on arrival. Little Broggi is very central, functional and has more than all you need for a stay in Milan, easy walk to main station and duomo. And there is a lift too! And great air con. Great find!

Dawn, Perth, Australia

I had a great time there, really nice house and very close to the centre of Milan and to every kind of service/comfort. The owners are super helpful and nice, very hospitable. The house is in excellent condition. I highly recommend spending your days in Milan with them!

Lorenzo, Forte dei Marmi

Very nice appartement, perfectly located ! We stayed with our 2 young children and it was a great place for them ! Jane has been very welcoming and is a perfect host, she gives lots of tips to visit Milano! Would definitely recommend this place !

Alexandra, Nantes

A lovely stay and our hosts could not have been more welcoming and supportive. The apartment was clean & richly furnished. A short walk from Corso Buenos Aires (great shopping) and the Metro which takes you to the heart of Milan. A supermarket directly across the road. For breakfast, there's a cafe run by locals - just a few steps away from the front door. Plenty of great restaurants, (both casual and upmarket) away from the busy main streets if preferred. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the action without being overwhelmed by it.

Rachel, Sydney, Australia

We has a very pleasant stay at Little Broggi, the apartment is conveniently located, close to the underground and the city centre. The area is very nice, full of local shops and restaurants. The apartment has all comforts needed and the host Jane is very responsive and welcoming. We had a perfect stay @ Little Broggi and I won't hesitate to recommend it!

Carola, Italy, leaving in New York

We had an excellent stay at Casa Broggi. The apartment was well presented in an attractive period building and was more than spacious enough for our party (2 adults and 2 kids). It is in an excellent local neighbourhood location, with coffee shops, a kids playground and restaurants nearby as well as easy access many shops and the metro which takes you to the Duomo in just 5-10mins. Also a special mention for Jane who was a really wonderful host that went over and above to make our stay as smooth as possible including helping us navigate a medical emergency. We would definitely recommend.

Andrew, Melbourne

Such clean and well presented fun apartment. Very comfortable and well thought through. Really good district close to the centre but peaceful neighbourhood with good restaurants and bars close by. Comfortable walking distance from the sights and the station. Wonderful, welcoming and extremely helpful host, Jane.
