Itri, Latina
Bed & Breakfast

A comfortable, stylish and relaxing place to stay, thanks to Pasquale who lives next door and loves doing B&B in charming old Itri

4 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 – 3

It’s worth coming for Itri alone, a wonderful non-touristy little town, tucked into mountains a short drive from the sea. To stay in the old quarter, high up by the castle, is the greatest treat; the views stretch to Ischia on a fine day. Your host Pasquale is courteous, charming, and speaks some English. Akasamia is a superb restoration – a couple of floors, a terrace shared with next door – of an old house distinguished by stunning sloping wood ceilings and mellow stone walls. Bedrooms are classically furnished, very cosy (one under the rafters), with elegantly dressed beds, shining parquet and terracotta, antique trinkets on dressers and tables, and a soothing blue and cream palette. Bathrooms ooze towels and aim to please so pamper yourself silly! Spend the daytimes riding horses, visiting olive mills, tasting wines and exploring ruins –  or head to the beaches at Gaeta and Sperlonga. You wake to breakfast served on white china: fresh figs, homemade cakes, jams, great coffee, conjured up by perfectionist Pasquale.

On the occasion of the wedding of our dear friends, we stayed at this b & b and we were really good. Pasquale thanks for the wonderful hospitality '!

Milena, Napoli

Akasamia is a very nice and elegant place to stay. Itri does not offer may attractions, however it is close to several beautiful beaches and if you want to spend few hours or days in total relax this is the place. Especially together with some friend you will enjoy the stay very much. The owner is very helpful and the breakfast is just great.

Giovanni, Roma

We had an amazing time at Akasamia. My husband and I went down after I had found it on your website, never having visited the area before. We can't waIt to go back. We have already told Pasquale that we'll be back in April. Such a magnificent B&B, such gorgeous details and Pasquale is so knowledgeable and helpful about the area, he gave us so many tips on things to go and see. A really wonderful find and I will rave about it to all my friends.

Louella, Siena

Dear everyone, I am pleased to tell you this place is not just special, it is unique! The house is both cosy and elegant, it is a place for total relax but also the perfect base for excursions in the nearby area. The owner, Pasquale, is truly passionated about his territory and gives excellent advice on where to visit and where to dine, enjoying the best local cuisine. Special itineraries are offered to enhance your holiday with culture and all kinds of adventure, book it all directly with the owner! I would highly recomend to stay for at least a week, to find yourself more and more at home..

Linnea, Gothenburg

.. we had such a lovely time. Pasquale came to rescue us as we would never have found his fabulous home in the depths of this medieval hilltop town. It is so tasteful with antiques in a contemporary setting. We were treated as friends, Pasquale arranged dinner for us in a nearby restaurant, Pulcinella, where we had a superb authentic Italian experience and baked a strudel especially for our breakfast . We could not recommend Akasamia more highly.

last week I was guest in Itri, at the luxury B & B “Akasamia”. I have seen that Mr. Pasquale Valentino, owner of the wonderful building where are the apartments, really reserve a special treatment for his clients. The services are excellent: the breakfast is tasty, the rooms (and the baths) are very comfortable and welcoming, the composite furniture solutions are at the top (usually beds, wardrobes, tables are antiques). Surely ”Akasamia” is one of the highest level of the italian enjoyable way to satisfy the customers requirements.

In the hills upon Sperlonga and Gaeta(few minutes by car) at the feet of the medieval castle in the heart of the old town you can find 'Akasamia', a quiet and lovely B&B with its charming landlord Pasquale Valentino will welcome you like a countryside gentleman in a friendly but refined atmosphere. Pasquale himself takes care of this enchanting guesthouse and the furniture of the rooms(comfortable and very clean) as well as providing you everything you need.He prepares a tasty home made breakfast and gives the best advice to enjoy your jouney. You'll be back!!

This B&B is situated in the heart of the little Itri, between the mountains and the sea; It's also not far from Sperlonga and Gaeta. "akasamia" is the most lovely place i've ever been! my room was as comfortable as quiet and the landscape from the window was great. Pasquale's breakfasts, in true English style, were always very good. "Akasamia" is a perfect place to your downtime. I'll be back.

From the moment we met Pasquale, we knew we had made the right decision. He looked after us so well, and we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door of his beautiful house, which has been tastefully furnished to a high standard. Pasquale's love of art and his great knowledge of history is reflected in this. We were spoilt every morning with a delicious breakfast, including a home-made cake each day. Returning at the end of each day, we found the house spotlessly clean along with freshly made beds. You will not find a more knowledgeable, friendly, or generous host.
