Villa Héloïse

Andres, Pas-de-Calais
Bed & Breakfast

Brimming with personality, this villa has it all: a treehouse in the garden, a jungle of plants inside, the chance to dine al fresco...

2 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 - 4

An endearing place with an owner to match. Chatty hard-working Marie-Christine does everything herself in her pretty red-brick home; she’s even built a treehouse in the garden. Stay in the family suite in the main house, a wonderland of plants and collected items old and new, or the independent wooden-decked apartment. It comes without a sitting room but Madame has buckets of personality to make up for this, and you can dine outside on that high decked terrace. Evergreens and shrubs provide the backdrop, fields surround you, Calais and Belgium are less than 30 minutes away. Wander the dunes, cycle, fish.

Another great Sawdays find.We have never been let down yet! This was an overnight stay on our way back and is only a stone's throw from Calais. A delightful old house and a great welcome from a charming host who is also a wonderful cook made our stay one to remember and we are sure we will return.

This wonderful B & B is an ideal stopover before or after the Tunnel. We spent one night here and enjoyed a delicious meal with Marie-Christine & her family. They were so welcoming & treated us as friends. The food was delicious and excellent value for money. We can definitely recommend staying here.

Great welcome after very late arrival from delayed tunnel trip. Food was really excellent, Marie-Christine is a first-rate chef and she was so friendly and engaging. The main house is exciting and feels special, the gite was generous with a cosy feel, pretty, very clean and very well fitted out. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome and we left the next day after a breakfast with homemade jams, on our trip south feeling very relaxed and wishing we were staying in this truly lovely accommodation longer. Would stay there again anytime! Perfect distance from the port/tunnel at 20 mins drive

We stayed here on an overnight run to Calais to buy wine for our wedding. Having picked up a dozen different bottles on arrival in Calais, the charming Marie-Christine's cooking provided a truly delicious setting against which to sample and select (in discussion with our hostess). Marie-Christine's warmth - not to mention her beautiful and fascinating house, which drips with care and interest - transformed what had been planned as a functional trip into a really enjoyable holiday.

We stayed two nights with our dog at Villa Heloise. As everyone says Marie is an excellent host and cook. The room was comfortable but not en suite. Wi fi was good. There is a good sized garden to exercise your dog. Location is convenient to the ferry/tunnel. We would recommend to anyone.

This was an overnight stay before we continued on to Brittany......however it proved to be a wonderful start to our holiday. Marie-Christine is a wonderful host and has a beautiful home which we couldn't stop cooing over with the girls taking lots of ideas for their own rooms back home. We would definitely recommend our friends to stay here as it felt like we were staying with relatives with it's relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade preserves.

Another delightful stay with Marie Christine at Villa Heloise. Calm and relaxing - just what was needed after negotiating the French roads on a warm summer's day. Room and welcome as charming as ever and the dinner was particularly innovative and delicious with new dishes we had never tried before. A fabulous B&B with a location very convenient for Calais Ferry terminal. Highly recommended
