The
Experience

Here is the B&B we all dream of (and a real slice of proper France). You’re well looked after: Élisabeth cossets her guests, puts flowers and sweets in the bedrooms and sends you off with walnuts from the farm. In the family for ten generations, the old stone house facing the mountains is happy and delightful. Join family, friends and guests round the long kitchen table for walnut cakes at breakfast and Élisabeth’s delicious menu curieux that uses forgotten vegetables. Roomy, old-fashioned bedrooms with armoires breathe a comfortable, informal air. Great for kids: a garden for wild flowers and a duck pond for splashing in.

Reviews

Wonderful Farmhouse with lots of character, history and charm. Picturesque inside and out..... gorgeous rooms with period furniture and original paintings set in the most charming setting. We loved absolutely everything about Les Peris. Do take a walk around the farm and countryside. I particularly loved the old stone bridge, river and waterfall a stones throw away. We stayed one night, but could have lived there forever. Best bed linen ever. Traditional supper with Elizabeth and her family included delicious home made wines. Breakfast with ten homemade jams and coffee in French bowls. PERFECT

We loved it on arrival, with it's ancient air of opulence mixed in with working farm. Genuine welcome and really fabulous meal (we had flowers and cheese for a starter..). We all loved the tour of the farm the next day complete with puppies and new born goat kids. Its a tranquil, interesting, truly relaxing place to stay with a lovely family. Really good value too.

Just as you described, a truly magnificent spot with fabulous food and genuine family who were extremely welcoming .hosts. Madeliene is a wonderful lady. The Vercors area is also magical with unspolit magnificant roads and huge unspoilt area to exploe. This is the real thing, a working farm with an authentic French experience, I had tears in my eyes as I said goodbye to this special lady.....not to be missed.
