In Montmartre village, in a quiet street between bustling boulevard and pure-white Sacré Cœur, Valérie and her architect husband offer a super-chic and ideally autonomous studio off their charming, pot-planted and cobbled courtyard with your bistro table and chairs. A bed dressed in delicate red against white walls, an antique oval dining table, a pine-and-steel gem of a corner kitchen, a generous shower, a mirror framed in red. Valérie’s discreet decorative flourishes speak for her calm, positive personality and her interest in other lands. A delicious Paris hideaway you can call your own.

Superb location in the centre of Montmarte and just a short walk from the Sacre Coeur. The owners are very helpful when needed but leave you to get on and enjoy your break. There is a lovely bakery next door and the courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast. There is a great range of restaurants on bars to choose from on the doorstep but noise is never an issue. Excellent value for money. We are returning this year for another blissful weekend.

Due to unforeseen circumstances We were unable to stay at studio Amelie but we wanted to share how amazing and generous Valerie was with us. She returned emails promptly and gave us great information on the area and the venue. She provided extensive information on transport and places we could go. Sadly we were unable to go to this place and feel quite sad as w would have felt very comfortable and secure following through on this accomodation and having Valerie as our host. Below I am rating our pre booking experience rather than holiday.

Kaye, Melbourne, victoria

Spotlessly clean and well furnished, an ideally located private base for both Montmartre and the city with Metro and bus stops close by. Plenty of choice for restaurants across the price spectrum, but go early or book the day before. Note unlike UK menus prices don't include tax.

Stephen, Horsham

A wonderful place in an perfect location. Apartment has everything you need, is very private and quiet, and the owners are very hospitable. Perfect space from which to explore Paris and plenty of bars and restaurants locally in the evening as well. Well recommended.

We had everything that we needed in Mme Zuber's apartment. She was most attentive to us and remained available for questions during our visit. While the accommodations were very small, it was clean and in a very favourable location. We loved the neighbourhood and were able to easily walk to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. In addition, there were nearby restaurants and shops for meals - take out as well.

It's not easy to find appropriate reasonably priced accommodation in Paris. Hotel rooms are tiny and expensive. Valerie offers a superb option, especially when you stay in sunny days and can enjoy the balcony, have breakfast or just read. She's the perfect hostess, offered the use of her washing machine and even baked for us a pizza which we bought in the nearby supermarket. The flat was spacious and had a kitchenette , and a walk-in shower. Public transportation nearby to all the tourist attractions, and bus 85 is a real treat. Valerie was very kind and attentive and made our stay a pleasure.

Yehuda, Jerusalem

A charming studio, with an equally charming hostess. Visited with my grown up daughter for 4 nights. The studio is safe, with reassuring security features and spotlessly clean. We felt like locals being able to visit the sights but go ' home ' to rest when we wanted. We walked from Gare du Nord which was convenient. We didn't cook but the facilities looked more than adequate. The large bed was separated for us into twin beds, individually they are narrow probably too small for a man. My daughter and I loved it.

Sheena, Newcastle upon tyne

A wonderful studio in a superb location, 15 minutes walk from the Gard du Nord. Everything you need for a self catering stay, and a patisserie a few steps away! A peaceful, quiet retreat after a busy day. Valerie provided lots of helpful information during the very easy booking process. A little gem of a studio!

Jane, Derby

Great place to stay. Perfect location for exploring Paris, particularly Montmartre and Gustave Moreau Museum. Very handy for the Metro, close to interesting independent shops and a super boulangerie less than five minutes from the front door. Valerie and her family made us feel very welcome, and helped us with printing our our tickets for the Opera! We will be back.

Studio Amelie ticked all the boxes for us, close to the Gare de Nord, near places of interest, was quiet secure with its own outside space. clean comfortable with a lovely and very helpful host.

A great place to stay in Paris. It is 3 minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur and many bars, shops and cafes. It is also in a quiet street with a delicious bakery - perfect. I'd never been to Paris before and am really glad I picked this place to stay. It is short metro or bus ride to the centre of Paris and all the sights. We travelled by Eurostar and Gare du Nord is just a 15 minute walk away. One tip for other visitors - bring some slippers as the tiled floor in the apartment is chilly on your feet! Valerie provided us with lots of useful information before and during our stay - thank you!

I loved my stay at Studio Amélie. It was my first trip to Europe on my own as a young woman. I was hoping for a clean, comfortable and very secure place to stay. Studio Amélie provided the perfect solution, being both affordable and so close to a deli and numerous cafés of the Sacré-Coeur, Montmartre area. Complete silence at night. Nearby a metro and two bus routes, which can easily take you to all the tourist spots such as the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, etc. The host, Valérie, is very kind and welcoming and has good tips for a stay in Paris.

Studio Amelie was ideal for us as we wanted to stay a little outside the city center to get a better feel for Paris life. The apartment had everything we needed and with a couple of Metro stations nearby we could be in the City center in 10 mins after a short walk stopping for our morning coffee and croissant on the way.. You could not get a more delightful hostess than Valerie. Highly recommended..

We had a wonderful four day stay in Paris with our 9 month old daughter. Valerie was extremely welcoming and helpful and we had everything we needed - there are cafes, restuarants and a supermarket within walking distance, and also well located for the Metro. I can honestly say we had one of our best trips in recent years and would definitely go back to stay at Studio Amelie.

The Studio was exactly as described on the website. Location is excellent, beside Sacre Coeur with the Metro and good restaurants close by. There was everything we needed in the Studio for our long weekend stay. Having the use of the courtyard was lovely. A peaceful haven in the city, Valerie was extremely helpful with directions and advice. We would return.

Studio Amelie suited our needs perfectly. It was lovely to return to the apartment after a long day as tourists and help ourselves to drinks and a lovely hot shower. The studio is super clean and comfortable and Valerie has thoughtfully provided everything one needs for a short stay. The bakery almost on the doorstep is lovely (try the leek quiche) and the large supermarket around the corner is steps away too. The weather was incredibly mild when we arrived so we had our lunch on the little patio before setting off to the nearby metro. We would recommend Studio Amelie without hesitation!

We recently spent four days in Paris and a friend recommended Studio Amelie very highly. She was right! It's a beautiful little place, spotlessly clean and with all the facilities you could wish for. Valerie sent us a lot of helpful information before the visit and, although she herself was away, her neighbours couldn't have made us feel more welcome (and immediately sorted out a minor wi-fi problem for us when it arose). The location is just perfect; hidden away in a quiet spot, yet yards from Sacre Coeur with a lovely baker on the corner. We would definitely go back there.
