What a wonderful experience! We visited our daughter studying abroad in Paris and had a fantastic week staying in Martinn's rue D'Argout apartment. We had researched to walk or take the metro to museums, restaurants and the Seine, and we were able to do that and more. You are within easy walking distance of great restaurants and cafes, and if you would like to cook in, there are grocery stores and markets to purchase fruits, cheese, breads, and anything else you would need. Martinn was always ready to help (we lost luggage) - she is your guide to Paris. We can't wait to go back.

Martines apartment was an incredible find. It was in an oasis of calm, the courtyard was cobbled with lots of well looked after potted planting. The apartment was clean and very welcoming with good furniture and a really comfotable bed lots of quirky interesting lighting and best of all in a very cold mid January warm. We were spoilt for restaurants the choice on the apartments doorstep was amazeing. Plus the boulangerie to die for..We walked to most museums etc. a thirty minute walk got you to most places plus you saw bits of Paris you'd never see on the Metro !

Wonderful base from which to explore Paris. Very comfortable, peaceful and secluded but within walking distance of many of the sights of Paris.A vibrant cafe and shopping street nearby. Martine was a welcoming and excellent host and expert guide.

Roslyn

A wonderful quiet and secluded flat in the heart of Paris, a stones throw from buzzing restaurants, the Louvre and an amazing array of specialty shops. Martine is the perfect host and expert guide - follow her advice to the cultural and foodie wonders of Paris!

A delightful host welcomed us to her apartment, and helped us to find great nearby cookware stores, restaurants and cafes, and our way around Paris. Her kitchen is the best equipped we have seen in three countries, and supplemented with great books, maps, and quiet nights for sleeping. Rue Mortorgueil is one block away and full of cafes and food shops of all kinds.

Location, location, location. Couldn't ask for a better location. Quiet at night, yet within walking distance of much of central Paris, several Metro stations and Ile de Cite.

My husband & I stayed there for a little over 2 weeks. We could not have been happier with location, facility & host! Instructions on location, transportation, neighborhoods, accouterments, sightseeing... I could go on and on, Martinn had everything under control. Because we were there for a nice long stay it was a relaxing stay as we did not feel rushed with our sightseeing. Martinn goes out of her way to help with your needs, but also makes sure that you have your privacy. I will have pleasant memories of this trip for a long, long time!

absolutely THE perfect location for a visit to Paris. Steps from the charming pedestrian shopping street of Montorgueil. Minutes walk to the Louvre. The apartment is quiet, cool and private. Exactly as described in the listing. The hostess Martinn, charming, helpful, an excellent cook and immediately responds to any and all requests and questions, she is also fluent in English. Having stayed several times we have absolutely no hesitancy in recommending the apartment.

Lovely comfortable apartment in the Montorgueil area of Paris. Right in the middle but Montorgueil feels much more Parisian than other tourist areas. Lots of really nice Brasseries and restaurants and local Boulangerie for the early morning bread shop. So much nicer staying in a typical town apartment than a hotel room, and the owner made sure we were welcome and gave us her inside knowledge of the best places to eat and shop. Hope to go again soon!

My hostess Martinn was a gem. She was very welcoming and friendly. I accepted her offer of the dinner which was excellent. She leaves you with a breakfast that lasts a few days (delicious home made jams). The apartment couldn't be better situated. Very close to Metro stations and buses. You are 5 minutes from rue Montorgueil for fabulous food shopping, and cafes. Walking distance to the Louvre. Musee d'Orsay and l'Oranagerie is a pleasant walk from the apartment. The apartment has all the amenities you will need for your stay and it is also very quiet which you will appreciate after a long day

We stayed in this lovely apartment this past January. The apartment is fabulously located- a short walk to the Louvre, great restaurants and shops. The kitchen was stocked for the adventurous cook and the breakfast she provided was not only delicious, but lasted our entire stay. We also indulged in a half day tour with our host Martinn, that she customized to our "foodie" passion. This ended with lunch in a local restaurant. It was a wonderful start to our trip and Martinn was very helpful with restaurant and travel information. We hope to return again very soon.

We are a married couple over 65 and spent a long weekend in this apartment which was ideal in every way. The apartment itself has everything one needs and is pleasantly and distinctively furnished. Although it is so central it is very quiet as it is in a secluded courtyard, surrounded by fascinating old streets and food shops. It is an easy walk to the Louvre and most of the cultural places one might want to visit: we only just used one carnet of 10 Metro tickets between us. Martinn is very helpful and kind and obliging. We would certainly come again if possible

On Rue'Dargout, in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement hidden behind courtyard doors is a most special apartment.❣️ We loved our stay there so much we have visited three years in a row and hope to return as soon as time allows. Martinn is an exceptional host and I am so happy to say now our dear friend. Her attention to detail, her knowledge of Paris and current exhibitions, her genuine desire to make her guests holiday special is reflected in all she prepares to welcome you. I truly feel at home in this retreat. Paris awaits you in all its splendour and quiet comfort awaits you at keys2paris

My husband and I stayed at Martinn's wonderful apartment for 3 weeks this spring, from April 22 - May 13, 2017. It has a great location, especially for foodies: 1 block to rue Montorgueil (a famous market street), 3 blocks to Les Halles, and a 10 minute walk to the Marais. Martinn is a fantastic hostess, and so willing to share her in-depth knowledge of Paris. The apartment is very comfortable and has the best-equipped kitchen of a rental that I've ever stayed in before, so you will be able to take full advantage of the glorious fruits, vegies, and other market purchases that you make.

Martinn’s apartment is a sanctuary and one of Paris’ well-kept secrets in the 2nd arrondissement. Gastronomes, longer-term vacationers and first-time visitors will be hard pressed to find a location that’s more convenient than Key2Paris, sited within walking distance to landmarks, museums, monuments, a historic food street, Michelin-approved restaurants, stores, and public transportation. The apartment is well-appointed with more than you’ll ever need, and the meticulous and consummate hostess in Martinn will make your stay a memorable and special one. We can’t wait to be back.

A gem of an apartment close to all the sights but where one enjoys a Parisian neighborhood. Charming decor, all you could require, comfortable, with wonderful amenities. Everything you could need just outside of the courtyard - shops, restaurants, transport - a wonderful alternative to the anonymity of a hotel.

Elizabeth

Wonderful studio apartment located just on edge of "monumental" Paris but in a residential area with small shops and restaurants. Apartment has alll one could want for self-catering well equipped and immaculately clean and comfortable. And I could walk everywhere from it - museums, shops, sights. Martine is most gracious hostess-although I did not avail myself of such it was a comfort knowing that I could have had the larder stocked prior to my arrival, etc. P.S. Friend joined me for part of the time and flat is very suitable for two unmarried persons.

Elizabeth

Set at the rear of a quiet courtyard, Martine's apartment has lovely decor, a very well appointed kitchen, and a convenient washer/dryer, and, no stairs - such a relief with luggage. The location is excellent - one can walk to the 4th, 6th, 1st, all is near. Martine's English is excellent and she is very helpful with great restaurant advice. A generous welcome basket helps one get started with coffee, wine, and other nice presents.
