We loved our stay at 52 Clichy. The apartment is lovely. It is situated in a great location and Rosemary is a wonderful host. She was instantly welcoming and we enjoyed our breakfasts with her on her balcony. We really appreciated her excellent local knowledge and recommendations as well as her humour. It was good to come back to such a kind welcome at the end of a day exploring Paris. We would highly recommend a stay with her.

Incredible service that starts from the moment you book, Rosemary and 52 Clichy are unique. So much more than a B+B host, Rosemary's knowledge is incredible and her advice indispensable...we managed to cram a week's experience into 5 days because we hit the ground running! We loved staying at 52 Clichy! Rosemary is a wonderful host - friendly, interesting and with a great sense of humour! It was very clean and tidy with a beautiful view of the street and in a great location. We looked forward to her delicious breakfasts each morning and enjoyed coming back in the evenings as it felt like coming home. She made us feel very welcome. We received a warm welcome from our host, Rosemary, upon our arrival to her bright, cheery, quiet, and centrally located BnB. We found ourselves within walking distance to the Palais Garnier! The bed linens are of the highest quality - ever so comfortable! The BnB was clean and tidy. Very inviting! Rosemary assisted us with our tickets to tour the Paris Opera House. I appreciate her recommendations as to where to dine locally. The metro stations are close by too. We hope to return soon. Jim & Michelle

I love 52 Clichy… it was recommended by my sister-in-law and from the detailed instructions before my arrival and throughout my stay, Rosemary is a wonderful host. My room and her apartment was spotlessly clean and the colorful, eclectic, light and airy decor made me feel at home. Breakfast every morning consisting of fresh seasonal fruits, homemade yoghurt, pastries and bread from the artisan bakery a few doors down was a dream. Spent 3 nights at 52 Clichy. Comfortable room and very central location. Rosemary prepared the most wonderful breakfasts and chose slightly different delights from the local bakery each day. Fresh fruit and yogurt, choices of so many teas and great coffee. Rosemary is a great host and was able to help with travelling to various sites and most efficient and cost effective ways too. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in Rosemary’s apartment. It is in an ideal location, central but also very quiet, with excellent small shops nearby. Very easy to visit all the key sites, as well as places that are off the beaten track. Rosemary made us feel very welcome and was helpful throughout. We definitely hope to return to spend more time exploring Paris.

52 Clichy, Rosemary Allan’s Paris B&B is even better than advertised! Rosemary anticipates everything that a visitor might require. She herself is a fountain of information about Paris, the neighborhood, transportation, restaurants, and sightseeing. She is also very accommodating. I overslept the morning after my arrival. After a gentle knock, Rosemary announced, “Carol, it’s ten o’clock!” I still found a delicious breakfast prepared for me on the beautifully-set dining room table—an hour late! Bakeries, restaurants, and transportation are conveniently located. I highly recommend 52 Clichy.

At Rosemary's B&B we loved the comfortable bed, the lovely breakfast and I especially loved the round window in the bathroom. And not to forget the rest and quietness there is, even though you are really in the center of Paris. We did plan a visit to Paris to watch the Arc de Triomphe packed by Christo but that was cancelled by corona. The Musée d'Orsay was much less crowded then normally of course so we enjoyed our visit and felt really safe. La Campana in the museum is a beautiful place to have a dring or eat something with very friendly waiters.

This is the perfect location, the perfect size and the perfect hostess. We have rented apartments all over Paris in the past 20 years and finally found one that feels like home and we will return to. It is large, sunny, sparkling clean and looks exactly like the photos that Rosemary has posted. In an extremely convenient neighborhood, it was close to everything you could want. As a seasoned hostess, Rosemary is the ideal person to use as a reference point. Her 20+ years in Paris and her British heritage make her just what you need to be right at home in the heart of Paris. HIGHLY recommended.

We were in Paris last month and stayed in 52 Clichy Bed&Breakfast. The location of the B&B is perfect to explore the city, it is quiet, easy accessible and very central. Rosemary is a perfect host. The room and the bed are superb, the breakfast is delicious and Rosemary is a very good guide. I would really recommend this place !

Comfortable, spacious, cozy, clean, quiet, centrally-located, well-appointed apartment, with the most gracious, considerate hostess! Rosemary took care of us from even before our arrival, with perfect directions and travel tips. We began our stay in Paris by sharing a cup of tea and lovely conversation on her beautiful balcony, and on our last night she invited us to enjoy a bottle of 03 Burgundy with her! She is delighted to share her wealth of knowledge about Paris. The apartment has every convenience - elevator, washing machine, kitchen items, linens, guide books - and Rosemary is a joy.

The moment we punched the code to open the heavy wooden doors in Rue deClichy we entered a quiet heavenly courtyard, gardens ahead of us in central Paris. The 5th floor apartment was lovely. Spacious and cosy. Our hostess Rosemary was an English Rose, but one steeped in Parisian specialities and her own quartier. Patisseries and typically French restaurants and places to enjoy to add to your own lists. Her warmth and range of conversation was compelling. A short stay will no doubt be repeated by a longer one sometime soon. We loved No 52 and Rosemary.

A lovely hostess and lovely flat in a great location. Breakfast comprised fresh fruit, breads and pastries from local shops; particularly good on the balcony on sunny mornings. The flat is peaceful and feels very safe. Can’t really think of any way it could be better!

Rosemary is a lively and attentive host. She plies you with some of Paris's most delectable patisserie. The apartment has a patio with a southerly aspect, perfect for a sunny afternoon. If you are looking for English hospitality in comfortable surrounds in Paris, look no further.

This property is ideally located for exploring Paris. It is incredibly peaceful given it is in such a central location. The most memorable part of my stay was the fascinating discussions over the breakfast/dinner table with the owner, Rosemary. She can provide a unique insight into Parisian life that you won't get in any hotel or indeed I imagine most B&Bs. Rosemary really does welcome you into her home and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay in Paris, whether on business or pleasure.

Perfect location, charming, wonderful hostess Rosemary is a wealth of great recommendations and knowledge, perfect breakfast to start each day. It's not in a touristy area, live like a local but close enough to so many of Paris' great attractions (within walking distance or by public transport).
