  • Vaison is famous for its weekly market (Tuesdays), roman ruins (the largest in France) and its Roman amphitheatre (dance and music in the summer).There are stunning views over the valley of the Ouvèze and of Mont Ventoux – the giant of Provence
  • Numerous hiking trails in the hills behind Vaison, to other medieval villages in Crestet, Seguret and beyondBiker’s paradise: many stay in the village to go biking through the surrounding hills and valleys. There is also horse riding within Vaison
