You’ll feel on top of the world in this square villa overlooking rooftops all the way to town – a labour of love for Fanny. Breakfast on homemade jams and crêpes, local pastries and plenty of teas in the great glass veranda, or out on the terrace. Do order dinner – your host’s an inventive cook, or head into town for restaurants. Bedrooms are simple, light and airy with French doors and tall windows, the two at the front overlook a tropical garden across the road – all have modern bathrooms with waterfall showers. The suite is in a separate building and has its own terrace. Plenty to do from island hopping to beaches and culture.
Loved Villa du Roc Fleuri So laidback and naturally stylish in a low-key way. Great roof terrace and outside spaces. Lovely breakfast in the glass veranda, including Fanny's homemade jams. Great find.
