The
Experience

Jérôme has happy childhood holiday memories of this elegant 17th-century manor house; he and delightful Patricia moved to join grand-mère who had been living here alone for years. A long path flanked by willows leads down to the Seine: perfect for an evening stroll. One suite is on the ground floor, in classically French coral and cream, its windows opening to a walled garden; the second, equally refined, is in the attic. Breakfast is when you fancy: brioches, walnuts, fresh fruit in a pretty green-panelled room. Ask about the Abbey and walks to its gardens. A charming rural paradise just 15 minutes from Rouen Cathedral.

I would like to personally thank you both for making our trip to France truly memorable. You made Debbie and I feel like family. We often stay in Bed and Breakfasts when we travel and I can honestly say that your home is the best we have ever stayed in. A special thanks to Jerome for allowing us to use his GPS unit. Without the GPS I would have not have found half of the destinations. Merci beaucoup Tom and Debbie...your Canadian Friends

This was the perfect place for our four days in Normandy and they were the perfect hosts. The breakfast was wonderful. We took day trips to Bayeux, the D-Day beaches, Rouan, for the Beaus Arts Museum and to the Abbeye Saint-George. It was amazing. One day we drove to Mont St. Michel and back to their home. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our day trips. We wouldn’t have wanted to pack and unpack each day and their home was so welcoming each evening. The history they gave us about their home, the working farm and the Abbey will remain with us.

We had the great opportunity to stay at Le Brecy for 5 nights. We used this location to visit various parts of the Normandie region before heading for Paris. Le Brecy is the long time family home of Patricia and Jerome and they have opened up their country B and B to travelers. They are also terrific hosts, always there to help in planning a wonderful day in the country. The apartment we stayed in was comfortable and private and gave us a great perspective on what it's like to live in a rural Rouen property. Our breakfast of delicious coffee and tea, juice, a basket of fresh, hot croissants an
