A fishing and sailing port and a bridge with 13 arches: a pretty place to stay. The enchanting longère is the home of two of our favourite owners: Madame, the same honest open character as ever and Monsieur, retired, who has time to spread his modest farmer’s joviality. Your side of the house has its own entrance, dayroom and vast old fireplace where old beams and tomettes flourish. The bedrooms up the steepish outside stairs are small, with pretty bedcovers and antiques that are cherished, the ground-floor room is larger, and the breakfast tables sport flowery cloths. Brilliant value.
