In an idyllic setting of orchards and pastures is a 19th-century farmhouse with two half-timbered cottages – a bucolic spot for Normandy B&B. The grounds are landscaped and large, there’s a heated pool for all to share, and the only sound you’ll hear is the braying of the donkey, the odd tractor, and the birds. Denis (ex-hospitality) and Isabelle (fashion) have created two immaculate light-filled bedrooms, one in the eaves, both with tip-top bathrooms and pretty green views. Exemplary breakfast includes homemade brioche and orchard fruits. For dinner you can pop into neighbouring Beuzeville or bustling Honfleur.
