The
Experience

In the centre of Arromanches, where reverent tourists make pilgrimage to its wide beaches, indelibly marked by the D Day landings, is a warm, friendly home. Paul is an avid collector of aeronautical artifacts and the house is filled with fascinating bits of history: WW11 battle plans, old black and white photos of pilots and fighter planes. Anne sets you up for the day with delicious breakfasts of patisserie, eggs, bacon, lashings of coffee and it’s an easy stroll to the beaches, cliff tops, war museums; Bayeux and Caen are nearby too. Return to comfortable en suite bedrooms, each with a handy little kitchenette.
