The
Experience

The 13th-century mill – imaginatively restored by its Australian owner – guards a garden of rare peace and beauty. Find a mill pond, home to wildlife and flashing kingfishers, willows, lawns, garden sculptures and masses of colour. Coral is full of fun, and a kind, dedicated host. She gives you big, dramatically raftered rooms with decorative iron beds and touches of old-world charm. Delicious dinners are occasionally served – you eat in the stunning vaulted dining room (its arrow slit intact) or out in the garden, on the terrace, within sound of the tinkling stream. Guests adore this friendly place.

We stayed at Moulin du Goth for 2 nights. What a delightful property. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Coral is a wonderful host. Cooked us great dinners and also served a good breakfast. No hesitation in recommending to anyone who would want to stay in that area. The local town Martel is worth a visit and a trip on the steam train should not be missed. medieavel had wi

Alexandra, Lymington

We booked Moulin du Goth as a stopover on the way south, as it is not too far off the A20. It is an absolutely delightful B&B. The property is full of character in a wonderfully tranquil position on a small river just outside the village of Creysse (follow signs for Du Goth). Coral is a warm and friendly host and the breakfast really sets you up for the day.

Second visit to this idyllic location and did not disappoint. A champagne hostess, very bubbly, great cook and meals were a delight in very relaxed atmosphere. Top marks

Alan

The most idyllic spot at this ancient mill in its cosy dell full of waterways and ponds. Beautifully kept house and delightful hosts Coral and Bill who shared our delicious dinner ; their presence really adding to our enjoyment. Sound of running water plus sightings of kingfishers and herons, a real delight. One of the very best of Sawday Special Places we have been to.

Judy

Fascinating and beautiful place in a beautiful area. Nice people. Comfortable and quiet

Norman

We absolutely loved staying at Coral and Bills wonderful old mill. Not only was it very beautiful and very peaceful but Coral made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Coral's cooking was delicious and our breakfast was also everything we hoped for. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay as the local town of Martel is absolutely charming. 10 out of 10.

Lisa

A wonderful place to stay. The mill has been lovingly restored, the gardens are beautiful and Coral and Bill are great hosts.
