A truffle-rich oak and hazelnut forest spreads out behind this restored old farm. Domaine de Saint Géry is quite unlike any other place and the Dulers are a remarkable couple. The farm is self-sufficient, organic and off-the-grid and their restaurant is renowned and revered. True food connoisseurs will appreciate the incredible passion, research, experimentation and care that lie behind everything that is grown and made here. The products are considered some of the finest in the world and are sold to Michelin-starred restaurants: ham from the rare-breed pigs, flour from a rare strain of wheat and foie gras made with Muscovy duck, truffles and carefully chosen and ground seasonings. Restful bedrooms have stone walls and natural colours; each has its own terrace or sitting out space. The grounds are planted with lemon trees, bays, oleanders and olives; there’s a pool, and a wonderful wild swimming lake surrounded by bulrushes and wild irises. You can take bread-making lessons, hunt for truffles in the forests in winter… A magical place with truly inspiring hosts.

  • Our estate offers a park of 70 hectares with woods, truffles, a vineyard, an olive grove, an organic vegetable garden, 12km of private footpaths, a spring water lake, pool and jacuzzi, and a fitness room.
  • Patrick Duler, a farmer and chef, renowned for his ham, cooks using the products he produces: homemade bread made with stone-ground flour, vegetables and fruit from the veg garden and orchard, foie gras, cured meats and wild pickings.
  • At Le Domaine you are welcome to visit our meat curing chambers, the flour mill, truffle patch and vineyards.
  • Truffle Weekends run January-February; they offer an opportunity to find truffles with the help of our dogs and then taste the fresh truffles in your evening meal.
  • Nearby you can visit the Cahors vineyards, Châteaux along the River Lot, Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, medieval fortified towns, prehistoric caves and roman chapels.
