The
Experience

It’s deeply peaceful here among vines in rolling Gers countryside – great for walking and cycling. Charming owners Amanda and Colin have breathed new life into the rustic frame of their old wine farm, and the feel is homely with some grand family château pieces, free-range dogs and cats, horses in the fields. Bedrooms have rugs on wooden floors, smart wallpapers and super-comfy big beds: one four-poster, one with wrought iron bedstead. Light bathrooms are impressive. They’ve also created a pretty courtyard and garden, shaded by ancient oaks. Most of the food is home-grown and breakfasts are delicious – try the fig, plum and peach jam.

Reviews

Séjour très agréable. Le site est calme et trés reposant. Le gîte est chaleureux et convivial à l'image de nos hôtes, Amanda et Colin qui ont tout fait pour faire de ce week-end " une parenthèse enchantée " !

after long journey to be greeted with a glass of wine was so kind the views are spectacular and the peace! the house is charming and you feel very at home and relaxed. they gave us a delicious supper the night we arrived and all the veggies were from their garden. a good break before going back on the road.
