It’s deeply peaceful here among vines in rolling Gers countryside – great for walking and cycling. Charming owners Amanda and Colin have breathed new life into the stone farmhouse. The feel is homely and elegant with some grand family château pieces, friendly dogs and cats, a horse and pony in the fields. Roomy bedrooms have rugs on wooden floors, smart wallpapers and super-comfy big beds: one four-poster, one with wrought iron bedstead. Light bathrooms are impressive. They’ve also created a pretty courtyard and garden, shaded by ancient oaks. Breakfasts are delicious – try the peach jam and house honey, and dine on wild boar or local duck for supper.

A wonderful stay with Amanda, Colin and their extended family of dogs, cats and horses. We were welcomed into their home, enjoyed excellent home-cooking for supper and home-made jams and fresh croissants at breakfast, and in particular appreciated the warmth with which our one-year old son was made to feel welcome and cared for, with his own bedroom. We ate out in nearby restaurant in Jegun and enjoyed really excellent local produce sitting outside under the beams of the market hall listening to live music. We look forward to coming back!

We loved every second of our stay at this enchanting farmhouse. Total peace and stunning views especially from the glorious swimming pool. Delicious breakfasts served under a tree in the garden and our hosts could not have been more delightful. Dinner was so good and cooked using local produce and followed by an excellent nights sleep in a very pretty bedroom with huge comfortable bed and we loved all the extra detail and touches everywhere. We will certainly return again

after long journey to be greeted with a glass of wine was so kind the views are spectacular and the peace! the house is charming and you feel very at home and relaxed. they gave us a delicious supper the night we arrived and all the veggies were from their garden. a good break before going back on the road.

Séjour très agréable. Le site est calme et trés reposant. Le gîte est chaleureux et convivial à l'image de nos hôtes, Amanda et Colin qui ont tout fait pour faire de ce week-end " une parenthèse enchantée " !
