Deep countryside, fine people, fantastic bedrooms. In a pretty outbuilding, the double, with a green iron bedhead, old tiled floor and Provençal quilt, looks onto the garden from the ground floor; the suite’s twin has the same tiles underfoot, beams overhead and high wooden beds with an inviting mix of white covers and red quilts. The Count and Countess, who manage forests, farm and hunt, enjoy doing B&B, they are charming and thoroughly hospitable. If you would like to dine in, you will join them for dinner in the main house. Members of the family run a vineyard in Provence, so try their wine.
