Bed & Breakfast

Elegant bedrooms with flagged floors and high windows, friendly hosts... superb-value southern B&B

2 rooms

Rooms sleep 2

Surrounded by great plane trees that have never been pruned, a charming southern home. The stone vaulted salon bears witness to the days of the Knights Templar; the sofas are comfy, the fireplace glows in winter, the piano (not grand) is ready to play. Kind Claire, friendly and refined, gives you elegant bedrooms with flagged floors and high windows, fine linen, fresh flowers, a sprinkling of antiques. Her husband knows all about Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape so don’t miss the vineyards. This is a wonderful area where markets, cafés and galleries abound.

What a lovely place - Claire is the most welcoming of hosts and makes you feel instantly at home. Our room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with antique pieces and contemporary furniture. A fan was thoughtfully provided as the weather was very hot during our visit. Claire and Luc were very helpful with advice about eating out, and breakfast outside was a feast and included delicious home-made preserves. The house itself is beautiful - Luc and Claire are very happy to share their knowledge of it's history with you. Their enthusiasm is evident and they are charming hosts. A great stay!

Dawn, Poole

Claire was the most friendly, welcoming host. She went out of her way to please and help with suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Claire's breakfasts were delicious and very filling. She made you feel you were visiting an old friend without being intrusive.

Kathleen, Sydney

Claire was a very warm considerate host. Her husband Luc was charming. They welcomed us into their beautiful home, were inspired in suggestions for restaurants, walks and cultural highlights. A great place to stay.

Adam, London

Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome, they looked after us beautifully for the 2 days we stayed, providing ideas of where to visit and restaurants etc. Great breakfast and comfortable room. Thank you.

A beautiful house in a stunning location, easily reached from Nimes Airport by car. It is easy to visit Pont du Guard (where we hired bikes) Avignon, Arles, St Remy and within driving distance of Gigondas. Claire was a wonderful hostess who provided fabulous breakfasts - everything home-made and absolutely delicious. She was also able to provide us with really useful information about places to eat, places to visit and the best routes to take to get there. Claire and Luc are lively, friendly and enthusiastic and made us feel like part of the family.
