The
Experience

The standing stones of Carnac are minutes away, beaches, coastal pathways and golf course close by. Kerimel is a handsome group of granite farm buildings in a perfect setting among the fields. Bedrooms are simple beauties: plain walls, some panelling, patchwork bedcovers and pale curtains, old stones and beams. The dining room is cottage perfection: dried flowers hanging from beams over a wooden table, a spring fire in the vast stone fireplace, breakfasts from grand-mère that promise an organic treat each day. A gentle, generous young family with excellent English, and passionately eco minded.

Local points of interest from Nicolas Malherbe

  • Homemade beer! We have been brewing our own craft homemade beer called La P'tite Derniere for 2 years, it seems that we are doing well!
  • Homemade apple juice: we produce a little bit more than 1000 litres of very good apple juice that you can taste as soon as you arrive.
  • Sustainability: we care about the environment and use renewable energy sources, aim to save energy and water, to reduce waste and to improve the local environment.
  • Grandmother cooks the best home made jams for breakfast.
  • We do our best to make a decent English cup of tea!
  • Note that it is possible to pay by bank transfer.
