On the edge of a sleepy village, a 17th-century priory with a lych gate to the church. Mellow stone walls are lapped by groomed lawns and gravel paths; a central fountain plays and there are beautiful terraces and sunny places to sit; beyond are 10 hectares of vines which you’re welcome to wander through. Your hosts give you an effusive welcome and delicious air-conditioned rooms: gilt-edged prints on rustic walls and goose down as soft as a cloud. The treats continue at breakfast – expect cheeses, fruits, charcuterie, breads, granola and conserves. Take a private tour of their château, discover the wines of St Émilion.

This place was perfect, everything was so peaceful and tranquil. A beautiful setting and a lovingly restored building. The owner Ana was attentive but left us in peace to enjoy the stunning surroundings. She makes a delicious breakfast, with place-settings that are straight out of the Savoy. The rooms are quiet, cosy and furnished to a very high quality. Ana was also more than helpful in guiding us to great local restaurants or catering for us if we decided to stay in for the evening. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights in this small chateau in Belves de Castillon and we would like to say how great it was. Basically it did everything it said on your website entry. Beautiful accommodation. Breakfast and evening meal - which Ana and her son cook to order - top class. We ate on the terrace when it was warm and in their lovely, huge, dining kitchen on the cool evenings. Blissfully peaceful and great value for money. The family seem to be fluent in French, Spanish and English. Ana herself is a real anglophile! So grateful to Sawdays for helping us find some brilliant holiday venues

We were very impressed with this Chateau. The hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was superb. We had a beautiful bedroom and state of the art en-suite bathroom. We also had a lovely lounge area in which to relax with tea and coffee provided. The hosts were very friendly and cooked us a delicious meal which we ate on their beautiful terrace. A great place to stay, which we would thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful place to stay in a stunning vineyard location. Dinner was amazing and was a pleasure to eat with Ana and her family in their dining room due to bad weather. Breakfast the next day was also perfect and Ana has thought of every detail in the rooms, comfy pillows especially which can be hard to come by in some areas of Europe! A perfect host and how could I forget the house wine!! Amazing!

Claud-Bellevue is a wonderful place to stay. The chateau is beautiful, Ana is a great host and her son Francisco, a very good chef. All was fabulous for our stay - the rooms are lovely, there are great guest facilities and the breakfasts and table d'hote are amazing! The latter is served with their own wine which is fantastic and the food is really high quality. Ana really made us feel special and we couldn't have found a better place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

This is a once in a life time experience! Amazing hospitality from both the hostess Anna and her son Francesco. The rooms are as comfortable as any you could possibly stay in. The food both in the mornings and evenings are exceptionally high standard (the evenings are extra but amazing value for money and cook by Francesco who has worked in the top restaurants in the world). A very relaxing atmosphere. Truly an amazing experience and great value for money given the outstanding quality.

I spent the weekend here with my son and daughter in law and we were thrilled at the welcome we received. Ana was keen to stress that we should feel at home and showed us around.apart from the bedrooms there is a sitting room, well equipped kitchen for our use, dining room and library. The garden was excellent too with plenty of seating areas and views of the vineyard. Her son Francisco created some wonderful meals for us, having discussed our preferences earlier in the day. He visits the market daily so the produce is fresh and usually local. The meals he produced were superb!

This was our second visit to this magical Chateau. Whilst the location and accommodation are amazing, the food is outstanding. In addition to the lavish breakfast, the optional evening meal is a must have – prepared by cordon bleu mother and son team, who have substantial Michelin Star experience. Ana the host is a wonderful character who could not be more friendly and helpful. A truly undersold gem and incredible value, we will definitely be back next year and would not hesitate to recommend this Chateau to anyone.

We stayed at the Chateau Claud bellevue and everything was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic all served as in a 5 star hotel. We decided to have dinner the 3 days we were there and were fantastic with a chef who has worked in the best restaurants in the world. The hostess always attentive to details. You feel like in a palace. They have a swimming pool and air-conditioned rooms. A total luxury. I recommend it 100%

This is a truly lovely place. It's spacious and the furnishings are luxurious. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Ana and her family made us very welcome. You must have dinner if you stay here; the food is wonderful and imaginative. Just perfect!

This is an amazing place to stay, the hosts were very friendly and could not do enough to make sure our visit was enjoyable. The food was exceptional and we ate in every evening. A very relaxed atmosphere where time did not matter. The standard of the rooms were five star as were the areas we used within the chateaux. It was so good I have booked for two more visits next year.

Ana has created a really beautiful home here. She has restored, renovated and redecorated to the highest standards. The rooms are beautiful. The bed is soooo comfortable and the linens are gorgeous. We dined with them every night and the food was beautiful. Ana's son offers such beautiful choices and delights in discussing his meals with you. There are lots of places to relax within the property, including a small library hidden away up a small staircase. We loved it. The hospitality was outstanding.
