The
Experience

Sophisticated simplicity in deep countryside, down by the river Dordogne. Light rooms and lovely breakfasts in the beautifully converted barn extension of Canadian Allison and Reg’s farmhouse are just great. The first floor’s a huge, beamed, open-plan space, with the ultra-modern bathroom up on a platform and the calm, comfortable sleeping and sitting area – with slipper bath – below. The similarly stylish ground floor has a separate sitting room and terrace overlooking the big garden and its lawns, mature trees and a central swimming pool. And, coming soon, the two-storey Bakehouse. Relax, join the canoeists, walk Murphy the wolfhound.
