Lovely views across rolling countryside spread out beneath these three stone houses clustered around the Inglis’ own home. Hailing from Swaziland & Kenya, easy-going Tish and Stuart love this ancient hillside hamlet and have stacks of local information for you. There are bastide villages and châteaux close by, caves and museums to visit; walking and mountain bike trails, canoeing on the river, minutes away (and at the water park), tennis, riding; wine cave and brewery tours. Each house has a fenced, lawned and terraced garden with barbecue and shares a big pool and a separate shallow one for children. You’ll check the details of each house for layout and access but the general style indoors is attractively unpretentious with plenty of crisp white, splashes of colour, stone-flagged floors, pretty curtains. Modern and dark wood furniture; simple, beamed attic bedrooms and romantic ones for the grown-ups. Kitchens, bath and shower rooms are cleverly conceived and freshly-tiled. There are bikes and rackets, logs for the wood-burners; catering and shopping can be laid on. Take the whole place and enjoy it all!
