Beaux Souvenirs

Thank you for an absolutely lovely time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beaux Souvenirs. Vanessa & William were fantastic hosts. The villages, chateaux in the area were very beautiful. And the food and drink was great!

We have had a lovely week here. The gite, garden and pool were fabulous. The area is great for bike rides and certainly did quite a few miles to make up for the food we have enjoyed. We loved the suggestions of places to visit, going to have to return as we still have a few places we didn't make it to. Many thanks

A lovely, private & quiet gite which we have truly appreciated. Yet, near enough to the village to walk for a coffee, bread and the Tuesday market. The pool was beautiful and for our sole use. The area is truly interesting, abundant chateaux, lovely towns such as Brantome, abundant walks. Our hosts Vanessa & William are a font of knowledge and a wonderful & warm couple. Thank you for everything!

Beaux Souvenirs has been just the retreat we all needed - post lockdown. We'll miss our daily morning amble to the boulangerie through the pretty village. The fresh bread and coffee in this serene location will bring us back. We've also enjoyed just chilling around the pool, to the sound of those elusive owls. We've loved our various excursions to the points of interest that are just a short drive from this quiet village. Thank you Vanessa & William you were warm, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Thank you for a special and memorable break.

What an amazing place! The gite was perfect in every way and had absolutely everything we needed. The outdoor space in particular was great, good spot for star watching. Vanessa and William have been great hosts and Vanessa's knowledge of local attractions to visit was invaluable. We hope to stay longer next time!

Four years on from our first visit and what treat! The gite is as beautiful as the first time we came.

We have spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful gite, relaxing by the pool, exploring the local area, (David by bike) and are now thoroughly relaxed! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable - you are perfect hosts! We hope to return.

An amazing place to stay, clean tidy well-designed and laid out, with quality furnishings throughout. The pool and garden area are fantastic, with lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun. The good-sized pool is cleaned every morning. The village is only a 6-minute walk and has a fantastic quality butcher, a good bakery and an organic veg etc shop. There is also a bar and small grocers. We had a lovely, relaxing week there, a standard far above most gîtes in the area. Lots of places to visit locally, all in Vanessa's file at the gîte. Thank you Will and Vanessa for a fantastic gite and pool. We loved the pool, garden and setting so much. It was hard to leave. It was really great to have a salt maintained pool which was expertly maintained. Great info and recommendations. We very much enjoyed our 12 days' stay in this comfortably well equipped and tastefully decorated gite. We loved the quietness and peacefulness of the house, the garden and the whole area. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the Perigord Vert, Vanessa and William proved to be very friendly and warm in their welcome and very helpful all kinds of things; much appreciated! All in all, an unforgettable stay in a wonderful environment!

Our 3rd visit, yet again a lovely relaxing time and lots of interesting places to visit. Vanessa and William are great hosts. We strongly recommend a visit!

The welcome was so warm and lovely in this beautiful house, garden etc. We loved out stay here for our late honeymoon. The pool, the garden, everything was perfect. Also, it was very clean. We loved the privacy but also the good tips from Vanessa and William.
