We stayed two nights in this beautiful 300 year old farm house. We were warmly greeted by Linda and shown to our room which was very comfortable with high ceilings and an period fireplace. The location of the house is secluded and quiet perfect for a peaceful get away from London. We were greeted both mornings by Linda who cooked us a delicious cooked breakfast which was served in the period dining room. We would thoroughly recommend this Guest House.

Although we only stayed for one night, we wish it had been longer. Linda is an excellent host, welcoming, friendly and full of useful information about the surrounding area. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept very well and enjoyed a lovely home cooked breakfast. It’s worth noting that there’s a remark in the write-up about “haven of rest from the motorway (morning hum only). All we can say is “what motorway?” There’s no hum and this delightful B&B is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
