The Old Post House

Deddington, Oxfordshire
Bed & Breakfast

Expect good breakfasts, rugs on polished wood, warm colours, vases of flowers - and a delightful host. Lovely garden and pool too

3 rooms

Rooms sleep 2

Great natural charm in the 17th-century Old Post House, where shiny flagstones, rich dark wood and mullion windows combine with handsome fabrics and furniture. Bedrooms are big, with antique wardrobes, oak headboards and a comfortably elegant feel. The walled gardens are lovely – with espaliered fruit trees, and a pool for sunny evenings. Rebecka gives you delicious breakfasts – homemade granola, eggs Benedict, blueberry pancakes. There’s village traffic but your sleep should be sound; you’re on the edge of the Cotswolds and Deddington is full of history and pretty houses. You’ll love Harry the friendly terrier too!

What a beautiful house with a perfect welcome! Home made cookies in a luxurious bedroom. Breakfast was an amazing array of choices, a little bit of heaven on earth.

Allison, Liverpool

The most amazing characterful B&B where they serve the most wonderful breakfasts. Don't hesitate to book.

Jackie, Ashtead

This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever visited in England. For character, style, comfort, many thoughtful details, wonderful breakfast and interesting conversation with our hostess, we wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return.
