Reviews

The Stables is a wonderful base for exploring this beautiful part of Northumbria - warm, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean with super- comfortable beds. The views from the conservatory and garden are special. Pauline, who handled our booking, could not have been more helpful, agreeing to a date switch, then back again, to cater for last minute problems and promptly returning stuff left behind, all with extremely good grace. We would recommend the cottage unreservedly ( and liked the look of the Mill House too which is right on the shore) . A fantastic break.
