A truly peaceful place, yet only a few miles from Peterborough. Sip a glass of wine on the decking down by the Willow Brook; beautiful countryside envelops you, cattle doze, kingfishers flash by and you may see a red kite (borrow some binoculars). Inside find pretty bedrooms with sloping ceilings, the purest cotton sheets and proper blankets; bathrooms are thickly towelled and full of lotions and bubbles. Breakfast is local, scrumptious and served in the friendliest kitchen facing that heavenly view. Walks and cycle rides start from the door; return and settle with a book in the conservatory. A hidden gem, and Judy and Rod are brilliant hosts.

“Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!” Love, love, love it here! We have been staying with Judy and Rod on a regular basis for about the last 9 years, it's like a home from home, and is definitely one of the highlights of our year. We love being able to sit on the deck down by the stream and look over the fields while having a glass or two of something cold - we have dogs too, and Judy and Rod are always happy to make a fuss of them and let them play in the garden. The rooms are lovely, and it's so peaceful that we always get a good night's sleep and the breakfast is amazing!!

Nicky, Halesworth
