Once the dower house to Lynsted Park, Dadmans sits on the edge of parkland surrounded by orchards, grazing cattle and sheep. Happy hens provide your breakfast eggs and Amanda sources fantastic local produce for dinner, served in the dining room on gleaming mahogany. There’s an elegant drawing room with roaring winter fires and a place to catch the evening summer sun; bedrooms have indulgent beds, views and good bathrooms. Large gardens are pretty too with ancient trees, walled areas, a nuttery, herb gardens – and a swing seat for sitting and admiring. Nearby, find plenty of gardens, castles and cathedrals.

Dadmans is utterly charming; a peaceful setting, charming hosts and a quintessentially English experience! Amanda's cooking alone was worth the journey and we will certainly be staying again next time we are in the area!

Rupert, London

We had a first class stay at Dadmans. It really is an outstanding B&B, with Amanda and Philip being perfect hosts who couldn't have made us more welcome or have done more to ensure we had a wonderful, relaxing enjoyable stay in their delightful home. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day! We had supper one night which was super. Amanda is a first class cook. The setting in the dining room with all the candles just perfect. We can't rate Dadmans highly enough and all three of us are eager to return!

Philippa, Bishop's stortford

We stayed at this absolutely beautiful property whilst in Kent for a Wedding nearby at the Great Higham Barn and our experience was 5 star! We felt like we were candidates on the BBC's "Escape to the Country". Mandy and Pip were wonderfully accommodating and helpful, yet very unobtrusive. The property is so large it felt more like a small well kept hotel. We arrived in a large group with the wedding party so without a car but Many and Pip offered to drive us to the wedding and local town. I'm not saying expect this, but it an example what lovely people they are. Highly recommend this BnB!!

Just returned from a brilliant stay at Dadmans. A warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, lovely comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Beautiful house and gardens. What more could one ask for?

Without a doubt this is the most beautiful, luxurious, and hospitable B&B I've every had the joy and privilege to stay in over 10 years of traveling around the UK. Amanda and Philip have created such a jewel in their area of Kent and anyone would be so fortunate to be able to stay here. The house is just exquisite, decorated just the way I'd do it if I lived in England. Every possible need has been anticipated before you can think of it, and every comfort attended to. The bed and its linens was beyond compare. Beauty, elegance, warmth, and hospitality permeate this wonderful home. Do go!

A fabulous place to stay and very welcoming hosts. We felt thoroughly pampered! We chose to have dinner there for the evening and the food (some of it home grown or locally produced) was lovely and is very much recommended. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Pip & Amanda!

Delightful House & garden, Phillip & Amanda are great hosts. We had a delicious dinner & breakfast. Thoroughly recommend it.

An absolutely fantastic B&B surrounded by beautiful gardens. Dadmans is wonderfully stylish, comfortable and ran with real enthusiasm and attention to detail. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend a visit.
