49 The Marina

We are a group of 4 women over 60 and this was our 3rd stay at this perfect apartment, directly opposite the sea. The 3 bedrooms are incredibly spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds. Everything was, as always, spotlessly clean. We enjoy long walks, some retail therapy and cosy evenings cooking, eating and drinking together. This apartment has the perfect space for just that. We will definitely be returning.

Our second visit to 49 The Marina. It is an ideal base from which to explore Kent. Extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. So lovely to see that some of the original features of the property have been kept. Nothing is too much trouble for host Molly. Always quick to respond to any questions or queries. She is very knowledgeable about the area, which is a great help if you have never visited this part of the country before. A truly beautiful place to stay.

This is the kind of place held in high esteem by travelers who have been fortunate enough to have stayed at other unique abodes of comparable excellence elsewhere on the planet . . .

This was our third stay at 49 The Marina - we've stayed in a number of holiday rentals in Deal over the years, but we absolutely love this apartment! The location is fantastic - directly on the seafront, and a lovely walk along the front into Deal. Parking at the front of the apartment is easy. The kids love to bring their scooters to scoot into town along the promenade....Molly is a fantastic host - super welcoming and accommodating - and I'm sure we will visit again in the future! We were a party of 6 adults and all of us were delighted with everything 49 The Marina has to offer. Spacious bedrooms, plenty of seating and well equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy and bedding smelt wonderful! Everything was spotless. Communications with Molly were clear and timely. We enjoyed hearing the waves breaking on the shingle beach and exploring Deal's fascinating past. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A stunning apartment in a beautiful location. Ideally placed to reach many of the attractions that the area has to offer. Our first holiday in Kent and it certainly will not be the last. If you like a real home from home experience then 49 The Marina Deal is the one for you

We spent three nights here. It was our second visit, the first being years ago. It was just as we remembered, a great location and a home-from-home feel. Spotlessly clean, large bedrooms, fully-stocked kitchen and great communication from the owners. Would highly recommend.

Lovely spacious property with the seaside on the doorstep. Great location for getting around the Kent coast “ on the train”. Lovely walk from Deal to Walmer castle and gardens. Deal itself is charming. We enjoyed our evening paddles and walks along the promenade and pier. Great to come back to 49 The Marina which had everything we needed.

Lovely apartment opposite the sea. Three large bedrooms. Smallish living room with dining table and patio garden. The flat is very comfortable has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Would really recommend. This is my second visit and would return. Things to do nearby and some good food choices. We love Deal and this place makes visiting a pleasurable experience. There were three of us.

Our second visit to this stylish, comfortable and superbly equipped apartment. We love Deal and this apartment is so well situated for the sea and shops. The owners are very accommodating and have thought of everything. The apartment is elegant and the beds soooo comfortable with beautiful bedding and soft white towels - very luxurious. I have no doubt this group of friends will be back.

A superb apartment offering everything we needed. It was clean, well maintained, elegant and comfortable, as well as being extremely well equipped. We were a group of 4 60 somethings and we had all the space and comfort we could have wanted. Being opposite the sea, we were able to walk first thing, middle of the day and last thing at night to view the sea in all it's shades and glory. A beautiful setting! We have just returned from staying in Molly and Angus’s delightful apartment in Deal. It was perfect for a family gathering and ideal for a 20 month old toddler with games and toys as well as a cot and highchair provided. The apartment is very spacious and right on the beach, with all town amenities within walking distance. All spotlessly clean and warm and cosy - so all in all an ideal place to stay.

Stayed here for a week primarily to be close to family in the town who we've not seen so much of due to Covid. Absolutely ideal base for us. Lots of space, clean and nicely decorated. I wouldn't normally opt for somewhere with street parking, but had no issues at all the whole stay. Would recommend, and already have! And we'll be booking up again ourselves.

We booked 49 as a place to stay when we had a family wedding nearby. It suited us well as the bedrooms are really large and there was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for the occasion. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you could need and there is a small courtyard garden to the rear where we sat in the sunshine. The beach is just a few steps away across the road ... There are so many places to visit in and around Deal .... Molly was so helpful and always replied promptly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked for a return visit next year for another family party.

Perfect stay Thank you molly for your transparency and flexibility to re book this covid interrupted break. The flat was just perfect for us, three large bedrooms and three shower/bathrooms all spotless. Our children and partners joined us for part of the week and the configuration of the apartment was just perfect. We fell in love with deal and enjoyed early morning sea swimming just popping over the road and walks into town along the front. Thank you molly we appreciated time together in your clean and spacious flat.

Beautiful apartment by the beach perfect for families. Such a special stay in a beautiful and lovingly cared for apartment by the beach. My little boy and the family had a magical time and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our one week stay at 49 The Marina. Molly was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed, particularly with a small baby, and a late checkout was really appreciated. The apartment was very clean and well furnished, in an amazing location right on the seafront! It was very quiet and relaxing and a short walk to Deal centre. We hope to visit again!

We loved our stay in this apartment and it was so well positioned to explore the gorgeous (and hip) town of Deal, the sea front (just cross the road) and nearby attractions. We hired bikes, shopped and had supper on the beach in front of the Zetland Arms pub. It was the perfect getaway. The apartment is beautifully maintained with a sun trap garden at the back - extremely comfortable beds, crisp fresh linen, brilliant showers and a bathroom for every bedroom! The kitchen is also clean and has everything you need (or a BBQ outside). Parking for free right outside was also a bonus..Will be back!

Great apartment, lots of space, everything you could possible need, is there waiting for you. Walk out of the apartment walk across the road and you are walking on the prom.
