On a steep hillside between the Peaks and the Dales, a chapel in a pretty village with a peaceful aura and great views. Enter a hall where light streams through stained-glass windows – this is a relaxed, easy place to stay with a distinctive and original interior, a log-burner to keep you toasty and a sweet dog called Molly. Fay is charming and generous and breakfast, in a dining room with open stone walls, is delicious: mainly from the village shops and as organic as possible; you can eat on the balcony in summer. Walk to the pub for dinner, come home to a fabulous wet room and a big inviting bed.

We have just come back to London after 3 wonderful nights at Mt Tabor B&B. The stay was a present from our daughters. Fay and Simon were the most hospitable and friendly hosts you could ever find. They were very helpful with places to vist, and helped with dinner options each night. There were flowers in the room and lovely biscuits and tea and coffee were refreshed each day. I thoroughly recommend their B&B for anyone looking for a restful and happy time in the area. We will definitely go back when time allows us on our next visit to UK.

Fabulous as usual. Great location with stunning views from this converted chapel. You will get a warm welcome. Lovely food and everything clean and comfortable. You will not be disappointed. Crich is an excellent centre for the Peak District yet peacefully located away from the mainstream crowds. By the way, Molly the dog is quite a character in her own right. Enjoy.
