Reviews

A gorgeous weekend at Trerose, wonderful welcome, spotless accommodation and beautiful setting, truly superb quality! Tessa spoilt our family with amazing breakfasts fit for a king. Tessa has a relaxed charm and is a wonderful host - we were made most welcome and every need was catered for. The house and gardens are most stunning, truly beautiful and a real reflection of Tessa's hard work and dedication. Perfect location for exploring Helford River, Falmouth and Lizard. We cant wait to return and recommend most highly to others, a real gem.

One of the most charming and welcoming B&B's I've had the pleasure to stay in. It is a home and Tessa makes her guests feel welcome and part of the family. The house is everything one expects a Manor House to be and the gardens are a delight. The room was spacious, had a very good bed and even a private library. The breakfast was just wonderful, you get what you ask for. Every morning we all sat together took our time over the meal and chat with Tessa. I would have loved to stay longer. Will definitely come back.

My husband, adult son and I had three wonderful days at Trerose Manor. It was beautiful, relaxing and the weather Gods shone on us the whole time. It was five minutes' walk to the beach path and within walking distance of Glendurgan Gardens. Plus there are some really good restaurants nearby. Plus Tessa Phipps was an entertaining and enjoyable hostess!

Trerose is a wonderful place to stay, we really felt as though we'd discovered a little piece of heaven on earth. The garden is simply enchanting and the rooms are very generous in size, with everything you need to hand. The location is great for walks with no need to use your car, although equally it's a great location to visit other places of interest, such as rather Lizard, Falmouth, St Michael's Mount, Truro etc. Tessa was very helpful throughout our stay & nothing was too much trouble, even breakfast outside when the sun was shining! We felt completely spoilt & would thoroughly recommend

We absolutely loved staying at Trerose Manor, the house is completely enchanting with a wonderful long kitchen and dining area, with French windows coming out onto a terrace. My children were very warmly received by Tessa and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms. Marvellous place to stay and would go again.

We just wanted to agree with all the favourable comments left by previous guests and to add our thanks for the way in which Tessa and Piers helped us with a difficult medical problem which we brought with us. No-one could have been kinder and more generous than this couple, who really are the perfect hosts.

What a delightful place to stay. Tessa and Piers were perfect hosts, I can't thank them enough for helping us have such a wonderful time - including ensuring that we got the dinner reservation we were planning for. The house and garden are immaculate, and afternoon tea on the grass was a particular highlight! Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Catherine

We really enjoyed our stay at Trerose - lovely room, fascinating house and beautiful garden, welcoming and engaging hosts and a lovely part of Cornwall. We'll really look forward to coming back with our larger family.
