Bed & Breakfast

A hop from ferry, shops and restaurants, a comfy, quiet, leafy base for Bristol or Clifton – with easy-going hosts and a fine veranda

4 rooms

Rooms sleep 2

A super city base with comfortable beds, charming owners and, without a doubt, the best views in Clifton. You’re a hop from the elegant Suspension Bridge, restaurants, shops and pubs of the village and a ferry to whisk you to town or the station; yet all is quiet and the garden is large and leafy. You walk in to a big square hall; the drawing room has a peaceful feel and a veranda for the views. Bedrooms are sunny and traditional: one downstairs overlooks the garden, the top floor double is furnished more simply. Simon and Joanna give you a good, leisurely breakfast too: local sausages and bacon, homemade jams and marmalade.

Excellent B&B - one of the nicest we have stayed at. Large comfortable rooms with lovely views of the garden and across the Avon Gorge to the Mendips. Welcoming cake and sherry in the bedroom. Delicious breakfast. Good restaurants and interesting walks around Clifton and down the hill to Bristol centre.

Anne, London

Lovely B&B to base yourself from when visiting Bristol for the first time - and a great location to choose if you are visiting for The Balloon festival. Simon is full of good ideas of what to fill your day with and very good at giving a steer of best times to be at places & events. The house is a delight and the breakfast varied and scrumptious - would thoroughly recommend a stay
