On a quiet, genteel cul de sac tucked away in Old Windsor, Marion has created a cosy, self-contained bolthole for guests. Your annexe is just 200 yards from the Thames and overlooks a pretty garden; the elegant bedroom has down pillows and white linen, fine china tea set and an old treadle sewing machine serving as a dressing table. The shower room sparkles and is replete with handmade smellies. The neighbourhood

Local points of interest from Marion Clark

  • Huge range of attractions within a few miles (Windsor Castle, Ascot and Windsor Racecourses, Windsor Great Park and Savill Gardens, Hampton Court and Henley). Being only 5 mins from the M25 means that excursions further afield are easily accessible
  • Numerous superb pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes in Windsor and Eton - we can recommend. Packed lunches can be provided - anything from a round of sandwiches to a fully blown gala picnic, suitable for Ascot or Henley. Book in advance.
  • Enjoy local produce including eggs from the Royal Farms, honey from the Windsor Great Park beehives and Sandringham apple juice. Expect tea and freshly made scones/cake on arrival, and homemade shortbread in your room!
  • River trips and boat hire from French’s Boatyard (Old Windsor), Chris’ Cruisers (Datchet) and Salters’ Steamers (Windsor) all within 2 and a half miles.
  • Frequent train and tube connections close by and just 20 minutes in the car from Heathrow.
