Grosvenor Villa

Bath, Bath & N.E. Somerset
Bed & Breakfast

Georgian townhouse with a fascinating history and charming hosts. Walk along the canal into the centre of Bath, return for tea in the garden

3 rooms

Rooms sleep 6

This listed Georgian villa was built to house the former high altar of Bath Abbey, which now forms part of the impressive entrance hall. Quiet bedrooms (up quite steep stairs) have super king-size beds with fine linen, robes, TVs and WiFi. Breakfast is continental with fruit salad, pain au chocolat, cheeses, boiled eggs; a convivial affair in the Georgian dining room. Your hosts are generous and you’re welcome to relax in the garden or by the wood-burner in the upstairs sitting room. It’s a short taxi ride or 20-minute stroll along the canal tow path to the centre for all the bustle of shops, restaurants and theatre.
